Data controller
Emma Nord Studio, [address to be added], Högsby, Sweden, is the data controller for the personal data collected via this website. Please contact us at hej@emma-nord.studio if you have questions about your personal data.
What information do we collect?
When you use the contact form on the website, we collect the information you enter yourself:
- Name
- Company (if you provide it)
- Email address
- Message text
- Any files you attach (for example images or logo files)
We do not collect more information than you provide yourself in the form. At present we do not use analytics or marketing cookies (see the section on cookies below).
Why do we process your data?
The information is processed so that we can answer your enquiry and, if an assignment begins, fulfil the agreement that then arises. The legal basis is either legitimate interest (being able to answer enquiries) or, once a client assignment starts, contract.
Protection against spam
To protect the contact form against automated spam, we use technical checks on our own server, for example a timestamp, an invisible control field and a limit on how many messages can be sent per hour. For this limit, your IP address is used only in encrypted (hashed) form and is deleted automatically after 24 hours. We use no cookies and no external services for this. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in protecting the website and our email from abuse (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).
How long is the information stored?
Enquiries via the contact form are stored for as long as needed to handle the matter and are then deleted, unless the information needs to be kept longer because of an ongoing or future client assignment, or under the requirements of the Swedish Accounting Act for any invoicing.
Who has access to the information?
The information is sent as an email to Emma Nord Studio and is therefore stored with our email provider. The website is hosted by the web host Strato, which can therefore also handle the information technically in connection with operating the server. We never sell or pass on your information to third parties for marketing purposes.
Your rights
Under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) you have the right to:
- request access to the information we hold about you
- request correction of inaccurate information
- request deletion of your information
- object to, or request restriction of, the processing
- lodge a complaint with the Swedish Authority for Privacy Protection (IMY), imy.se, if you believe your information is being processed incorrectly
Contact hej@emma-nord.studio to exercise any of these rights.
Cookies
The website emma-nord.studio currently uses no third-party cookies for tracking, statistics or marketing.
The website uses a single technical session cookie (PHPSESSID). It is only set when you unlock the portfolio section with the password and is used only to remember this during your visit. It is deleted automatically when you close the browser, contains no personal information and is not used for tracking or statistics.
If we introduce analytics tools in future (for example visitor statistics), this policy will be updated and, where required by law, you will be asked for consent before such cookies are activated.
